Continuing Story
New Years Eve wasn't much of a celebration this year, but the night before Ben took us out to eat at a nice place in N. Asheville, Avenue M. I had a few cocktails, and enjoyed a rare night out. Mostly when we go out, it's for lunch. Helen tends to be in a better mood during the day. New Years day we had our neighbors and my Dad over for a traditional meal of black eyed peas and collard greens. Ben also made cornbread. For my Dad's birthday Ben cooked another wonderful meal of baked chicken, butternut squash, stuffing, salad, and gravy. I made a Devil's Food cake and Ben made butter cream icing. We had my Dad's friends over, and my Dad's friend Jim has the same Birthday.
We have discovered that Miss Helen loves blueberries and pinto beans. We took her to the mall to make a Papa Smurf at Build-A-Bear yesterday, and afterwards we went to Papas and Beer for some yummy Mexican food. Ben started to give her a few pinto beans, and she just kept eating more and more. Today her poop was blue because of all the blueberries she's been eating. She also likes to share my grapefruit with me in the morning, although this morning she kept standing up in her high chair, and just as my attention was someplace else, she took a nose dive toward the floor, luckily my reflexes are pretty good and I stopped her with my shin and caught her before she smashed to the floor.

Thankfully your soccer skills are still sharp. I really love the update. Blueberries, huh? That's great! Hopefully we can start planning our next get-together. Maybe we should throw a date and a place on the calendar and see what everyone thinks. Your thoughts?
Love ya - Matt
I'd love everyone to come here. Page's family is coming in April the week before Easter, so everyone could come then. Page would love for us all to meet at the beach, somewhere between Ga. and NOVA. We could also meet here in the summertime when the weather is great for swimming in the river.
