We've spent the last two weekends in Virginia. Last weekend we were on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Floyd, Va., Peaks of Otter, Va. and Shenandoah National Park along Skyline Drive. The weekend before last we visited our friends while they were camping in Grayson Highlands State Park in Southwest Virginia. So many beautiful places in Virginia, makes me proud to have been born in the Old Dominion.

I am originally from Fairfax, Va. My earliest memories are living near Portland, Ore. We moved back to Va. the year before Mt. St. Helens errupted. In '86 my family moved to Asheville, NC. I attended UNCA and recieved my B.A. in Sociology with a Minor in Anthropology. I moved to Knoxville, TN after graduating in '94. I got married in '95 and my husband and I moved to Johnson City, TN so he could attend Medical School. We have been here ever since. We live in an old neighborhood in a 1920's bungalow style house. We have a sheltie mix dog.
